Join us for a day of outback adventure, we head west from Alice Springs through Owen Springs cattle station before leaving the highway behind to explore the Finke Gorge National Park. 

Travel along the bed of the Finke River which has meandered across this landscape for more than 130 million years and marvel at the dramatic evidence of its awesome flood history.  Further along the track the magnificent Amphitheatre provides a stunning opportunity for photography before finally reaching Palm Valley itself. 

Experience a walk amongst the rare Red Cabbage Palms left as relics from a lush climate many millions of years past.  After a gourmet picnic lunch we travel back along the river bed to visit the Hermannsburg Historic Precinct founded by Lutheran missionaries in 1877, before returning to Alice Springs in the late afternoon.
